Trois Familia is the French/Mexican daytime-only lunch/brunch hub that no one really asked for, but still has everyone hooked two years after its opening because the food is so damn good.
French celebrity chef, Ludo Lefebvre, whom the LA food scene seems to be obsessed with, joined hands with the dudes behind Jon & Vinny's back in 2015 to create another hyped-up Silverlake brunch iteration. The super casual spot hides in a humble little plaza, where you'll find a small crowd of a bunch of cool characters loitering beneath the rainbow-detailed sign after noting their party down on a simple clipboard hanging outside the entrance. Inside, Trois Familia is all about communal dining, with diners enjoying their Chicken Milanesa and Carrot Mole Enchiladas atop white picnic tables and benches.

Must Try | Churro French Toast, Crispy Hashbrown Chilaquiles, Tres Leches Birthday Cake
Parking | There is a tiny lot in the plaza. Attempt to park there at your will, but you'll be better off trying your luck at finding street parking.
Pro Tip | The wait averages around 30-40 minutes. To kill time, explore some of Silverlake's hidden gems like the Micheltorena "Rainbow Heart" Stairs, which is just down the street from Trois Familia.
